New Year......New Goals

Since its a new year, I'm going to start out with new goals.  Not really a LIST of goals, just things I want to accomplish.  First is going to be blogging more.  I've been slacking on blogging, I don't even know WHEN I started this blog but I'm going to give it a shot at getting it active again.

I'll say that mostly, I'm a positive person but honestly, my husband and I can get into some heated arguments.  So I'm going to try to change that this year, because I know I am a horribly stubborn person.

I also am going to be doing my cross stitching as much as always (would anyone expect anything less), but I'm going to have a bin of kitted up patterns that I'm ONLY going to stitch out of.  If something new comes out that I can't wait to start, then I'll swap it out from one that is already in the bin.  Once everything in the bin is done, then at that point I will stitch other items.

So here is what is in the bin:
Tribal Santa Hat by White WIllow Stitching
Special Delivery by Just Nan
Aury's Reindeer (that I have a hand dyed green for that I can use to stitch the deer at LEAST 2 if not 3 more times for ornaments for next year)
Garden Party Cakes by Nora Corbett
Bethleham by Imaginating
Love Quaker Style by Aury
Vintage Christmas by Country Cottage Needleworks
Old Glory by Rosewood Manor
Needle and Thread by Little House Needleworks
Cirque des Cercles by Ink Circles
Little Witch by Shepherds Bush
Grow Old With Me by Bobbie G Designs
His Name is Jesus by Joyful Expressions (hey Di, I think this is the one you were talking about, its a freebie by the way)
View of the lighthouse by Cross-stitchers-club.com (this one came from Di)
Lady Alexandra by Mirabilia
Welcome by Keslyns
Wouldn't Life Be Great by Lizzie Kate
Spooky Scissor Fob by Shepherds Bush
Liberty Typography by Pine Mountain
Poppy by Nora Corbett
Sabrina by Mirabilia
Lighthouse Island by Rosewood Manor
Tiny Treasured Diamond by Mill Hill
Long May She Wave by Shepherds Bush
The Nativity by MarBeck (its already been started but not by me so that doesn't count as a WIP!)

This started out as the "Crazy January challenge" but I altered it for my liking!

I also want to be better at uplaoding pictures.  Horribly lacking on my part, this blog is almost picture free.

SO HERE IS TO CHANGE!!!!

 SANTA WAS HERE!!!!

This is me and my baby boy.  He's the light of my life.  I can't imagine life without him.

All three of my guys.  Its been 4 years since we've been able to spend a holiday with my husbands son.  So nice to be able to have him back!  And Brandon LOVES his older brother.

On an additional note, if anyone has a spare prayer hanging around, please pray for my nephews.  They are in a very scary situation and their father is stationed in Egypt.  His wife is trying to do what she can for her step-sons but its not easy.  I hope and pray every night that those boys will be able to get out of that situation, but sometimes the legal system doesn't work the way we would like it too.  So prayers would be appreciated for that side of the Bush family!!
